This non martial marked 1860 Colt Army 44 is a standard Richards conversion to the 44 Colt cartridge. All matching serial numbers #194475 including cylinder.. It is a true conversion in that it was altered to take the 44 Colt by way of the Richards conversion of a civilian model 1860 percussion 44 and falls right in the middle of the proper serial range as such. These were all refinished after the conversion but the markings remain strong including most of the cylinder scene. The finish is a beautiful smooth patina with flashes of finish in protected areas. Action locks up tight as new. Bore is excellent. Original wood grips are fine with small chip at front of each toe. Comes with a period holster and belt. Anitque so can be shipped directly to your door. A very fine and seldom found blue version of this popular Western Frontier weapon.
