Description: An exceptional Colt Single Action Army model manufactured in 1887. Serial number 120041 is correctly maked on the 7 1/2" barrell, the frame, the trigger guard, the butt and the cylinder. The Army inspectors mark DFC (David F. Clark) appear on the bottom of fthe barrel, the bottom of the frame and the cylinder. The gun is a 45 Colt caliber that is the standard caliber ordered by the Army. The grips are single piece walnut. All parts appear to be original and the gun functions smoothly. The gun retains 20 -30% of its original blue finish with slightly less of the case hardened colors on the frame and trigger. The grips retain most of their original oil finish.
