Lew Horton Exclusive Custom made Colt MK IV/Series 70 Government Model pistol, 1 of 6 produced/distributed, in .45 ACP, serial number 73B2102, with standard 5-inch barrel and extensive custom scroll engraving on sides of slide in ornate patterns. Fixed front sight with drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide marked "COLTS MK IV / SERIES 70/ GOVERNMENT MODEL/ 45 AUTOMATIC CALIBER" surrounded by elaborate scroll engraving. Right side of slide marked "COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL" integrated within the engraved decorative motifs with "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A." and serial number "73B2102" on the frame. Fitted with highly figured composition/burl grips with feathered grey/black pearlite top/rich burl bottom, secured with slotted grip screws. Includes two blued magazines marked "COLT .45 AUTO" with rampant Colt logo on floorplates. Complete with original blue plastic Colt case with foam insert whose content includes owners manual, spare magazine, hanging tag, lock, chamber flag, and end label referencing Make, Model, Caliber, Barrel Length, Finish, and serial number. Letter of Authenticity from Lew Horton Distributing dated May 31, 2018 cited that, at the time, only 6 had been delivered, future production likely to be limited due to high price.
