1958 Colt Woodsman 3rd Series 22 LR Semi-Automatic

Out of a fifty-year collection, a 1958 Colt Woodsman 3rd Series semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle.
Finish shows spotty, light oxidation, more of a discoloration, no deep pitting. Should clean-up well with 0000 steel wool and oil. Has a clean bore with strong lands & grooves, solid magazine, chambers and ejects clean and properly. Mechanically, the piece is perfect, it had been cleaned and oiled before being stored, but neglected to oil the finish. 
These Colts are probably the finest, most collectible .22 pistols ever produced, their accuracy, craftsmanship, and point-to-shoot design unequaled.
This Colt has the desirable 6" target barrel with walnut grips, adjustable sights and the sleek profile and balance which made the Woodsman famous.
