This Colt Pre-Woodsman (.22LR) was mfg abt 1927 almost a century old. It is in
Very Good to Excellent condition for it's age. Most of these from that period are
either shot out (& Non-Shootable) or very rough.This particular one retains almost 95-98% of
it's bluing w/some very faint markings. The action is normal & the magazine looks
very little used (See Pics). The bottom of the magazine says "CAL .22/COLT".
It matches the description in the Blue Book (This is the proper mag for this COLT).
The Wood grips are original to the firearm & are in VG condition w/the Left one
having a minor dent at the bottom edge and the R being perfect.
See pic of frame area around were the grips fit & it's very evident that this fine
Colt has been in a very controlled environment.
This Colt Pre-Woodsman to me rates an "NRA VG to Excellent" It should appeal
to the more advanced collector. (The Gun mitt is for presentation puposes only & not
included).The Firearm itself is in an all original condition w/a shiney bore &/w distinct rifling.
