High Condition All Original 1906 Colt Model 1902 Sporting
Description:
1906 Colt Model 1902 Sporting chambered in 38 ACP with a 6 inch barrel and factory charcoal blue finish. These pistols are relatively scarce as there were only 6927 ever manufactured. This is an all original example that remains in very high condition. The finish still retains a dark mirror shine throughout. All of the leading edges remain sharp with zero high edge wear. The fire blue small parts are all still very strong. The color casing on the hammer remains completely intact. As seen in the photos, it only shows very light and scattered superficial handling as well as a few pinprick pepper marks. Overall, the finish rates a very conservative 97%. The bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. The slide to frame fit is tight with zero wiggle. The chamber area is very clean. The factory grips are in the same excellent condition as the gun itself with sharp checkers throughout. Upgrading this 120-year-old example will be a tough task.
