Offered for sale is a very attractive and increasingly scarce Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer chambered in .38 ACP. This example features the desirable 4.5" barrel, original Colt hard-rubber grips with Rampant Colt medallions, and retains an excellent amount of its original high-polish Colt blue finish.
Serial number 28835 places production in the early years of manufacture. The pistol exhibits sharp markings, crisp edges, and an outstanding overall appearance for a firearm that is well over 100 years old.
This pistol presents exceptionally well with strong original finish remaining over the majority of the firearm. Markings are sharp and fully legible. Grips are excellent with no major chips or cracks noted. Metal surfaces show only light handling and age-related wear consistent with careful ownership.
