Colt Nickel 1903 Auto with Pearl Grips in the original box with accessories shipped to Lou Eppinger’s in 1935

Description:

Offered is a Colt nickel Model 1903 auto chambered in .32 auto. It has the original box with brochure, hang tag, cleaning brush and Colt flier. The gun comes with a Colt Archive letter showing it was a one gun shipment in February 1935 to Lou Eppinger’s in Detroit, Michigan. They were a sporting goods store that was famous for inventing the Dardevle fishing lure. The gun remains in excellent condition and is mechanically perfect. The nickel finish does show a few micro scratches which is quite common for a gun that is over 90 years old. The beautiful thick pearl grips are free from chips and cracks. While the production of the 1903 far exceeded the 1908 (.380 auto) the amount of nickel 1903’s was much less than the nickel 1908’s. Collectors of these often look long and far to find one in this condition. I offer a three-day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly in a soft sleeve and placed inside a zipper gun case and shipped with insurance to your dealer in the continental United States for $65.00.  This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer.
