Colt 1908 pistol, .380 acp U S PROPERTY marked and authenticated with a Colt Factory Letter.
This is an all original finish pistol that was shipped to the Naval Supply Depot, Norfolk, VA, November 7, 1944.
90-95% original blue with the most wear showing on the front of the grip frame. Bore is excellent. Mechanics are excellent. Original wood grips still have "strong" checkering with a few wear spots.
These were used by General Officers, Intelligence like the OSS and other security personnel.
Overall a very desirable and collectible WWII pistol with Provenance.
