1911A1 WWII USGI Ithaca US&S Semi-Auto Pistol .45 ACP
Description: Up for sale we have a 1911A1 WWII USGI Ithaca Semi-Auto Pistol in the .45 ACP caliber. SN range of the receiver matches Ithaca Production records per Clawsons for late war parkerized pistols. For some reason, it has a Union Switch & Signal slide. I can't explain that. The gun is like new, all parts are WWII correct to include the HS marked barrel and the slide and receiver have the correct late war finish which is parkerized vice Dulite. The feed ramp is correctly in the white. The frame is correctly marked as FJA for Frank Atwood and has the crossed cannons This gun is in excellent condition maintaining all of its original finish. Keyes grips as well. There are some minor scratches below the slide stop on the lower receiver (pictured). The barrel is 5 inches long with a mint bore and original sights. So to recap, the lower is produced by Ithaca and the slide is produced by US Switch and Signal which is one of the rarest manufacturers of 1911A1's during WWII. Overall this is a great 1911A1, with a very rare slide but the top and bottom are mismatched to each other. If you replaced the slide with an Ithica slide you could probably sell the US&S slide for significant money on Ebay. Just a thought since Ithica or US&S are not numbered to each other like Colts are so you could pair these up if you chose to do so. SHIPPING 40$ To purchase this firearm simply send me a message via GI with your contact info. I will respond via e-mail with all the information required to complete the purchase. If you must contact me via phone, please text. Keep in mind I am on the West coast and if you call me at 5AM before I've had my coffee we will be off to a rough start. I am an FFL. I will provide my FFL with the shipped item. Total price is sales price plus shipping price. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Handgun Caliber: .45 ACP (.45 Auto) |
