The M1927 was built in Argentina using Colt machinery with assistance from Colt engineers. The pistols are well built and just as reliable as their G.I. counterparts. It is built to 1911A1 specs. The 1911A1 has seen military service all over the world and today enjoys popularity among civilians and law enforcement. The pistol shown has seen some use. It currently lacks a finish. I have disassembled the pistol and wiped down the barrel, barrel bushing, guide rod, slide, slide lock, and frame with some Barricade to protect it from rust. All wear is shown in the pictures. The bore has minor pitting but good rifling. All serial numbers match. The magazine is made by Mec-Gar, the same company that produces magazines for Beretta and others. Although worn, the pistol is still fully functional and would likely be a good shooter. It would make a nice truck or home defense gun.
