One of only 800 were produced for the Mexican military in Mexico's turbulent history in the first decade of the 1900s. "Few have survived and even less have been returned to the US. The few the author has been able to observe show evidence of a great deal of hard use" per Douglas Sheldon's fine book, COLTS 38 AUTOMATIC PISTOLS, pages 116-117. He notes only six others - so RARE
