Colt 1911 A1 as new 1944 in box

Description:
Colt 1911 A1 as new in original box, with wax paper.This Colt was made in 1944. It was Inspected by Brig. General Guy H Drewry (GHD) Army Inspector at Springfield Armory from 6-17-42 until 7-15-45. It has the correct Scovill Mag S/CS that was in this pistol when I acquired it. The grips never off. I have never taken it apart. Notice the heat treating near the slide lock notch (slide stop). This pistol has been in my collection since the 1980's. I have another 11 pictures for a serious buyer. As the pictures indicate it is spectacular the best of the best.
