COLT 1911 ACE made in pre-war late 1937 or early 1938 (serial number 8541) in .22 long rifle caliber and one of only 11,000 made from 1931 thru 1941.  NOTE:  Thus IS NOT  a Service Model...it is the real deal factory  original Ace made in serial number range  from 1-10,935.  The Service Models had a "SM" prefix with serial number range from SM 1-SM 3836.  This Colt pistol is all original and in 99.9% overall condition...the Colt bluing is an art to behold...this doesn't get any better... magnificent!  This masterpiece comes with 4.75" Colt Ace .22 match barrel with bright glossy bore, adjustable target sights, flawless checkered walnut grips and correct 10- round, two-tone Colt Ace magazine stamped on base plate.  Also, this Ace comes wrapped in a Boyt canvas and leather zipper carry case and a really nice hard wooden display/presentation case with snap lock.  This pistol is a must for any discerning Colt aficionado/collector/enthusiast.  A magnificent piece of WWII history.  The price is $7500 including UPS shipping to the FFL dealer near you.  Call or text me at 318-780-4242 if you are interested.  Enjoy the pictures.
