Description:
Argentine Colt 1927 1911 A1 type pistol .45 ACP matching numbers thoughout, marked on slide, frame, barrel and base of magazine.  Wood diamond grips appear original.  In great condition, Grips show some wear consistant with age.

In 1927the Argentine government contracted with Colt to purchase 10,000 colt .45 ACP pistols of the M1911A1 design.  Thy were produced in their on serial number range of 1 to 10,000 and were called the 1927 Colt pistol.  Afterwards, with Colt technological assistance the Argentines set up their own arsenal to make clones of this design within their own country.  Material/finish: blued steel.  Walnut grips.  Similar to USGI pistols, most Argentine Model 1927's have been through a depot at least once and this one may be a high quality arsenal refinish.
