Description:
Early 1914 Colt 1911 with what I believe is with all its original parts including barrel. I have reproduction grips on her to save the long time grips that came with her. These old grips have 11 rows between diamonds so probably grips made for a early Springfield. Years after I obtained it I noticed writing in pencil on the top grip in photos denoting who the owner was. Looks like Sgt P O Nichols or Nicholson with his unit underneath. I shot one clip from her after first purchased and none since. Blue is turning brown and some corrosion but in excellent condition. Two magazines. One with harness loop and one probably a early civilian mag. No stamps on either. Barrel has significant wear but rifling still there. Call me if interested. IMHO I think ole sarge took it home before ww1 as condition would suggest. I'm just a old collector thinning out the heard. I used gun tab once and it's very safe for buyer and seller or can use personal check ( has to clear first) or MO.
