RARE Colt 1911 Transition (1924) U.S Army WWI WWII 45 auto, All Original!
Description: RARE Colt 1911 U.S Army, Transition Model, 1924. All Original! Only 10,000 ever made (serial numbers 700001-710000) We have examined this pistol and it's all original and correct! All the correct markings are present and sharp! The slide is correctly marked with an "H" on the rear, and a "G" on bottom. The receiver also have the correct "H" and "G" marked by disconnector hole.The inspector's mark on receiver, WTG (Walter T. Gordon, captain), is properly enclosed by a double circle (this started around 702000 serial number). The barrel is also correctly marked with and original, it has the correct HP mark on top of barrel hood, and there's a "K" in the underneath area, front of lugs. The bore is in outstanding condition for the age, I'd say 8 out 10! The original correct walnut grips are in great condition! It comes with correct two tone WWI era magazine unmarked! The action is tight and functions properly! Overall a great sample of a rare transition model, all original and correct! Cashier checks and bank money orders same as cash.
