Serial #189775, .45 ACP, 5" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some trace freckling within the grooves. This is a 1918-made, "GHS" inspected pistol that retains 97-98% of a very well done added blue finish that closely matches the original black finish applied to these late-WW1 contract pistols. There is some mild silvering present along the edges and projections, with some minor surface scratches and small abrasions through the finish scattered about as well. The markings remain clear and fully legible, although the "H P" barrel barrel markings are rather faintly visible. The pistol is fitted with some fairly new double diamond wooden grips that have light handling marks and minor flattening to the points on either side. A single lanyard loop magazine is included that has been polished at the top to mimic an original two-tone magazine. This is a great looking WW1 Colt Model 1911 that has been refurbished to nearly fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
