Description:
Here is a very nice vintage Colt Series' 70 Government Model 1911 that was built in 1977 This gun appears to be all original except for the aftermarket higher profile sights. Has the original collet style barrel bushing that is in good condition. Chambered in .45 ACP with a 5" barrel with a great looking bore that has sharp crisp rifling. Nice crisp single action trigger! The grips are Pachmayr presentation style wraparound rubber grips which feel great in the hand. The original Colt blued finish has some faint wear but overall looks excellent and is at 95% or better! Factory arched mainspring housing and single side safety. Overall this is just a great looking and great working vintage Colt 1911 that would make an excellent addition to any firearm collection!
