Colt MK IV Series 70 Gold Cup National Match Slide and Barrel on top of AMT stainless frame .45 caliber ACP automatic
This is a hybrid gun. The frame was made by Arcadia Machine and Tool (AMT) of Irwindale, CA in their El Monte, CA factory sometime between 1977 and 1984. AMT calls this their "Hardballer" model. AMT frame serial number = A13251. AMT produced clones of existing firearms - also commonly known as "1911 pattern pistol". Most of their guns were made in brushed stainless steel. The frame on this gun has a brushed stainless steel finish. It has a wide, target style trigger and an adjustable trigger stop. Comes with 2 magazines with a rubber cushion added to the bottom of both magazines. Bianchi black rubber wrap-around grips. The slide, barrel and other small parts were made by Colt. The slide is marked "MK IV Series 70 Gold Cup National Match" and has the traditional high polish blue finish. The 5 inch barrel is marked "Colt .45 Auto N.M. MK IV Series 70". Adjustable rear sight. Raised rib on the top of the slide.
