Rare and seldom seen Colt MK IV Series 80 Enhanced Model 1911 Government in 38 Super with “Ultimate” bright stainless steel finish. The enhanced models are recognizable by the “E” at the end of the serial number. This model has the flared ejection port, elongated trigger, skeletonized hammer, wide beavertail grip safety, full flat top rib and angle cut slide serrations. It is possible this pistol has been fired, but from my inspection it doesn’t look like it. It is in pristine condition with no rub on the trigger, no rub on the hammer and no rub on the barrel hood. No scratches or marks can be found anywhere. The rubber Colt wraparound grip looks new. Serial # SG07880E. Manufactured in 1998. No longer made. The pistol comes in Colt factory box (no end label), all paperwork and three 9 -round factory stainless magazines. Also included are Synthetic White Pearl Grips with Colt Medallions.
