WWII U.S. military pistol. Serial number is dated 1945. Part of 1,000 pistols to the Transportation Officer Springfield Armory. Pistol has inspectors mark ""GHD"" above the magazine release button. Pistol has been arsenal refurbished. Grips are excellent. Bore is good with strong rifling and some shallow pitting. Overall very good condition late WWII pistol.
