This custom Colt 1911 was conceived as a unified tribute to America’s 250-year journey from 1776 to 2026. One side reflects the nation’s founding, honoring the birth of independence and the ideals that shaped the United States. The opposing side represents present-day America, with special emphasis on the military men and women who continue to protect those freedoms. The top of the slide, front strap, magazine, and case act as connecting features, bringing both themes together into a single, cohesive work of commemorative functional art.
