***SOLD*** Absolutely beautiful Pre 70 Colt 1911 Commercial Government model, in 45 auto. This beauty was made in 1965, and it features the distinctive high quality craftsmanship and deep dark bluing of the 50's, and 60's 1911 commercial pistols!
As the pictures clearly show, this pistol is in high collector's grade! The extremely hard to find original factory plastic grips (notorious for shrinking and becoming brittle over the years), are in excellent shape! One of the best grips we have seen on these 50's and 60's guns! It has a rich dark brown color and they are free of any cracks or chips!
Besides a few handling marks on the bottom area of frame (the worse one being a series of scratches on front strap, grouped together. Please see pictures) the pistol is in excellent condition!
The barrel and chamber are superb! Action is crisp!
It comes with original magazine. No box!
These are getting harder to get, especially in this condition! Don't miss out on this one!
