Description:
This 1911 traces to Colt manufacture in 1945, from the serial number on the frame. The slide has no identifiers, the CMP tag says simply "gov. Contract" manufacturer. It is in good condition, but is more a shooter than a collector, but then it is a Colt, made in '45, so it would be a great piece for a living history or re-enactor's display. .45 Auto
