Colt 1911 MK IV Series 70 DW Harris Engraved .45 Auto

Description:
                Starting life as a standard MK IV/Series 70 Colt, this pistol has been given full coverage hand engraving by DW Harris. This deep blued, floral scrolled 1911 has Mother of Pearl grips, complete with a carved steer head on the right grip panel. The traditional 1911A1 form factor is retained with the serrated short reach trigger, thin spur hammer, arched mainspring housing, and long tang grip safety. The 5” Government barrel rides on top the proven GI length guide rod. The original markings and Rampant Colt still adorn the left side of the slide.
                This pistol has some wear on the usual part contact surfaces. There are some small scattered handling marks. The grips are loose fit to the gun. The bore is bright with sharp rifling.
