SER# 161,758 Mfg 1931 Im calling it a pre national match as per the description.The original National Matches started in 1932.This piece was made just like a National match but with out the two words on the slide saying NationalMatch Two letters on the piece. This piece is a special order gun. per the letter. A one gun shipment. It has a 41/2 lb trigger. a minty bore, a MB in a circle on the left lug making it a match barrel. A wide front sight like match guns .The slide is numbered to the frame. all the internal parts are in the polished white just like the super match and the National matchs. It functions perfect and is very accurate. The finish is all original with some wear on the front strap and left side of the slide . It still retains a lot of finish for its age.
