Description:
Colt M1911A1 US Army in .45 ACP. The M1911A1 is an improved version of the original M1911 that entered service in 1926. This one was reworked at the Springfield Arsenal, as evidenced by the "SA" marking on the right side of the frame. The slide was replaced with a commercial slide. It has be Re-parkerized and fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips. It features adjustable rear sight and an improved front blade sight. The pistol served as the standard-issue sidearm for the United States Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985 This pistol is in very good condition with very light finish wear. No magazine. It is marked United States Property, Serial # 912841. No box. .45 ACP
