SOLD-From my private collection of collecting guns for several decades, is a unique and rare "1 of 1" custom made Colt MKIV Series 80 Officers Model 1911 in .45 caliber with a ported 3-1/2" barrel sporting a polished bright stainless finish. This is number 6 of only 25 limited sets of different Colt models custom made in 2018 by Malcolm Customs, but one of one in this Colt model and design. Colt engraved handguns are to be "unique" like no one else owns but can be over $5k, so the owner wanted to create beautiful unique pieces for those select collectors that want something different than anyone else owns without breaking the bank! If you aren't interested in rare high quality unique handguns that no one else owns, buy a Glock and have fun-LOL. This has been professionally ported and has the gorgeous "museum quality" polished bright stainless steel finish you could shave in! It has a beautiful engraved custom mag well rear grip, custom Colt grip screws, gold dipped Colt medallions on Ivory "style" grips.
This has the origanal Colt box and docs (unopened in sealed plastic)! It also comes with a custom locking wood presentation case with a glass top (both shown in the photos). It has a set of keys taped to the bottom of the case so it can be locked to prevent curios lookers from handling the gun. I have never loaded the gun or fired it since purchased. It has been on display in a humidity controlled environment with my collection only to be admired. To me the finish and condition is "museum quailty" but review all of the detailed pictures to decide for yourself. I always recommend anyone with intentions of firing a collector quality gun that has only been dispalyed for years, have a gunsmith do a thorough inspection and be sure the internals are oiled to factory specs before firing the weapon. I cannot personally warranty any handgun so any concerns of warranty or guarantees would have to be with the manufacturer as I am a private collector and not a gun store. SOLD-From my private collection of collecting guns for several decades, is a unique and rare "1 of 1" custom made Colt MKIV Series 80 Officers Model 1911 in .45 caliber with a ported 3-1/2" barrel sporting a polished bright stainless finish. This is number 6 of only 25 limited sets of different Colt models custom made in 2018 by Malcolm Customs, but one of one in this Colt model and design. Colt engraved handguns are to be "unique" like no one else owns but can be over $5k, so the owner wanted to create beautiful unique pieces for those select collectors that want something different than anyone else owns without breaking the bank! If you aren't interested in rare high quality unique handguns that no one else owns, buy a Glock and have fun-LOL. This has been professionally ported and has the gorgeous "museum quality" polished bright stainless steel finish you could shave in! It has a beautiful engraved custom mag well rear grip, custom Colt grip screws, gold dipped Colt medallions on Ivory "style" grips.
This has the origanal Colt box and docs (unopened in sealed plastic)! It also comes with a custom locking wood presentation case with a glass top (both shown in the photos). It has a set of keys taped to the bottom of the case so it can be locked to prevent curios lookers from handling the gun. I have never loaded the gun or fired it since purchased. It has been on display in a humidity controlled environment with my collection only to be admired. To me the finish and condition is "museum quailty" but review all of the detailed pictures to decide for yourself. I always recommend anyone with intentions of firing a collector quality gun that has only been dispalyed for years, have a gunsmith do a thorough inspection and be sure the internals are oiled to factory specs before firing the weapon. I cannot personally warranty any handgun so any concerns of warranty or guarantees would have to be with the manufacturer as I am a private collector and not a gun store. This can only be shipped to a current licensed FFL. It is your responsibilty to know the laws in your state for legally owning a handgun.
Feel free to call me with any questions while reading the ad and viewing the photos for an honest inspection and answer to your question. I do not want any unhappy buyers and hoping to gain a list of serious collectors to stay in touch with in the future. Anyone returning it, must inspect the gun with the FFL dealer present as a witness during the entire inspection and before you take ownership and leave the dealer's location. The gun cannot be returned once it leaves the premises of the FFL receiving and inspecting the gun. It is impossible to know what someone does with a collectable piece once they leave and it makes returns difficult, espcially if someone causes loss in value of the gun due to mishandling. I ask you please CALL ME with any concerns DURING the inspection. If it goes to VM for any reason, only if you leave me a message I promise to call back the minute I get the message. I do not chase or return "missed calls" without a voicemail. Any approved return must include every item in the original shipment in the EXACT condition as shipped and shown in the photos. Any changes to condition or missing items, would cause a denial of a return or a reduction in the amount of return based on the change in value when I receive the return! Subject to a 15% restocking fee and the buyer is responsible for paying all fees including shipping in both directions, insurance and FFL fees on both ends of the transaction.
