WW1 REMINGTON-UMC U.S. MODEL 1911 .45 ACP PISTOL CIRCA 1918. Early production with 4,7xx serial number. Colt slide which is of the same period and either a wartime arsenal replacement or an original Remington assembly expedient at the time of the production. Both slide and frame have the same 60-70% original finish and modest wear. Fine markings and original grips. All original parts and proper inspector’s markings (EEC/ EAGLE HEAD ORDNANCE PROOF/E). Nice bore with crisp rifling. Perfect working order. Original WW1 two tone magazine.
