1911A1 UNITED SWITCH AND SIGNAL
Description: Out of my longtime collection is a MINTY US&S. Serial no. is 1054162. Manufactured in 1943. It has that BEAUTIFUL original blue-gray DULITE finish. And it has 99% of it. Everything is correct including a mint HS barrel and bore. NO RING grips. This is a no P version on slide and frame as is correct for this serial range. Double struck R.C.D. inspection mark of Robert C. Downie. This was struck after the gun was finished thus through the Dulite finish which is a tell-tale sign of originality. It comes with a mint M.S. Little magazine. Has concentric machining rings on barrel bushing found on many US&S's. Action is fine. US&S's don't come any better. I have seen this condition gun bring in the low $20k range in .
