1937 Colt Ace, 95% or better w/box and presentation case, Gorgeous, Trades Welcome!
Description: Gorgeous 1937 Mfg. Colt Ace wearing a 4.75 inch barrel, original Blued finish, adjustable target sights, checkered wood grips and correct Colt Ace marked two tone magazine. Pistol remains in 95% or better original condition. Small areas of light wear near muzzle and some thinning on high edges, overall gun remains in fine collectors condition. Colt Ace marked base plate on the two tone original magazine. Pistol comes in wood and leatherette presentation case and replacement Colt box numbered to the gun with owners papers. Colt produced the .22LR Ace from 1931 to 1947. Colt Ace was derived from the powerful .45 ACP chambered Colt 1911to allow military, police, or civilian shooters to train with the Ace without the recoil and expense of the 1911, but with similar ergonomics and sighting. Chambered for the far less powerful .22 LR cartridge. Most early Ace pistols we have had in our shop show heavy wear and little remaining finish, it's a pleasure to offer this gun in this original beautiful condition. Add 3% if paying with credit card.
