145 Year Old Serial Number Matching Colt Single Action Army / SAA 1st Gen In 44/40 Shipped June 25, 1881 to Hartley & Graham NY
Description:
This Colt Single Action Army in cowboy 44/40 has a lot of honest wear and years of use that would complement any collection. This is a serial number matching Colt from the Frame, Trigger Guard, Backstrap, Cylinder, and the Barrel. There is still some blueing on the Barrel under the Ejector Tube that has been protected for 145 years. The metal still looks good for its age with plenty of honest wear and character from the years of use. The one piece wood grips still look and fit nice and tight on the backstrap. The barrel rifling is pronounce and sharp but very dark. The Hammer still looks good with no broken notches and it appears that it has never been repaired. If you are looking for a true honest cowboy Colt Single Action Army in 44/40 this is it! Please message me below if you have any questions.
