Description: Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver 44 cal Bore VG, Mech VG locks up tight. Has original wood grips VG near Exc, Has a 8” Rd barrel with small brass blade front sight and one line colt address mostly visible has some dings in the metal. The frame has the colts patent marking on the left side and the serial#96637 (Mfg’d 1864) matching except for the wedge which appears as old as the gun . The cylinder has traces of scene and matching number. The connection where the barrel and frame meet is excellent so the gun is tight. Has inspector initials in a couple places, Metal overall has a dark aged patina finish with no pitting but a few ding mainly on the left side of the barrel and a couple on the cylinder.
