Colt Single action Frontier Six Shooter 1879

Description:
Colt SAA single action Frontier Six Shooter etched panel. Very early 44-40 made in 1879. Second year Colt produced the 44-40 Six Shooter. According to Colt shipped as a 7 1/2 nickel gun. Most all nickel is gone with exception of traces in cylinder grooves.
All matching serial numbers on barrel, frame, cylinder, trigger guard and back strap.
Very nice early etched panel Frontier Six Shooter. Action is tight with all clicks.
