Colt Combat Commander made 1974 in Satin Nickle finish, cal. .38 Super, SN: 70SC32930 with 4.25-inch barrel, fixed front and drift adjustable rear sights. Top of barrel marked "COLT SUPER 38 AUTO". Left side of slide marked "COMBAT COMMANDER" / "COLT" / ".38 SUPER AUTOMATIC" followed by the rampant Colt logo. Right side of slide "COLT'S COMBAT COMMANDER" with frame marked "COLT'S PAT F.A. MFG CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A." and serial number "70SC32930". Rough hewn walnut grips, each with chromed Colt medallion. Matching-finish magazine with 8 cartridge indicator holes and integral floorplate. The Combat Commander was introduced as an all-steel version to differentiate from the aluminum-framed Lightweight Commander, with the steel model offering enhanced durability for extended use.
Condition:
Excellent original satin nickel finish with sharp edge wear and handling marks in usual locations reflective of light use. Verified proof on the left trigger guardand "D" assembler mark on right side ofhaving cut through the finish. Comparable condition barrel, grips, and magazine. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics.
