Weldon Lister Engraved Pair of Colt Commander's, Cal. .45 ACP, Commander
Description: Exhibiting some of the finest balance, layout and execution of contemporary engraving we have seen, this pair of standard weight .45 Colt Commander's were embellished by FEGE Master Engraver, Weldon Lister of Boerne, Texas. The near 100% coverage required 300 hours each over a period of six months. The mixture of foliate, germanic scrolls and geometric designs are so well integrated, and flow so well, that one feels he sees somethiong new each time he views the guns. They are deeply cut and shaded to give depth, and are true works of art. The guns are not consecutive in serial number, but were both manufactured in 2013, and have matching pre-ban checkered Ivory grips. These are two of the most attractive engraved 1911 Commanders I have ever seen. PRICE: $18,000 for the Pair, $9,000 Individual We are Antique & Modern Firearms in Lexington, KY, dealer of fine firearms since 1974. PH. 859-276-1419 We Buy, Sell and Trade Firearms & Knives.
