Description: (M) COLT 1911 RHEIMS COMMEMORATIVE SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL IN DISPLAY CASE. very good condtion Colt World War II Commemorative, European Theatre of Operations. Cased in glass covered display case. Nickel finish with bird's eye maple Colt medallion grips. Modestly engraved with an oak leaf pattern and the names of the primary areas of operations, i.e.: North Atlantic, Tunisia, Sicily, Ploesti, Salerno, Normandy, Bastogne, Remagen, and Berlin. Special serial number range of 706ETO. This is commemorating the surrender of Germany at Reims on May 7th, 1945 and the end of hostilities in the European Theater. CONDITION: Unfired and as new with dried packing grease still evident on exterior. Display case has several very minor scratches on internal try and slight staining from firearms storage. Key is not present with case.
