Colt 1911 A1 World War II Custom Shop Commemorative Consecutive Serial Number Pair

Description:
Got two Colt 1911 A1 World War II WWII 45ACP Reproductions or Commeratives with Consecutive Serial Numbers.   WK01X15 and 16.   You can see the serial number listed in the pictures with one or two number blocked.   Model number is clearly visible in Picture 1 on the label on the box.

Look closely at the pictures as what you see in what you get.   There is plenty of oil and grease showed in the pictures.  Hence discoloration and bright spot and reflections.  The firearms have never been fired but have been handled, looked at, and fondled and placed back in the wax paper.  The magazines have not been out of the wrapping.   I have additional pictures showing where the oil was removed so you can see before and after.   Welcome to ask for them

Since fondled, handled and looked at these are listed as used.   The firearms are re-oiled and replaced back in the wax paper after taking the pictures so no oil from my hands affect the parkerized finish.

A pure guess is this pair was going to be used as a consecutive custom build by the gun smith, gun store, FFL/SOT and for some reason estate chose otherwise.   Hence the handling.   As many of our other listed items are custom or from new guns used for custom builds.

Listed as USED whether New, New Old Stock or Used as this came from a the estate of a gun store, gun smith, FFL /SOT and is or was inventory.  There will be countless other items as we figure it will take 5 to 7 years to completely list the inventory.  Just keep checking our other listings or.......
