This Colt Automatic Pocket Pistol in .25 ACP is a sharp little postwar Colt with the right look, the right markings, and the right accessories. The 0D-prefix serial number places it in the early 1970's production window, separate from the earlier Model 1908 Vest Pocket line. With its factory box, manual, Colt-marked magazine, and matching serialized box label, this one brings far more collector pull than a loose pocket pistol.

Mechanically, this pistol keeps things simple with a compact blowback system and fixed barrel layout. That design gives the little Colt dependable function and practical close-range accuracy, exactly what these pistols were built to deliver. The .25 ACP chambering keeps recoil soft and makes the pistol easy to run in a true vest-pocket size platform.

The exposed hammer, frame-mounted thumb safety, and compact single-action trigger give this pistol a very different personality from the earlier hammerless-style Colt pocket autos. The checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions add the classic Colt dress that collectors like to see. It is small, cleanly shaped, and still carries that old-school Colt counter appeal.

Condition shows honest handling with visible finish wear, small freckles, and age consistent with a carried or handled pocket pistol. The slide and frame markings remain clear, the grips are intact, and the magazine is correctly Colt-marked for the caliber. The box shows wear, but the presence of the matching label and manual is a major upside.

For Colt collectors, the complete package is the story here. A boxed 0D-prefix Colt Automatic .25 with manual and matching label is a much stronger offering than a standalone shooter-grade example.
