Colt 1900 the first commercially available semi automatic pistol available in the U.S.
RARE Only 4273 total manufactured. The Walker of Colt automatics.
First year production.
Shipped July 19, 1900 to Browning together with serial numbers 474-481 inclusive ( published in The Government Models by Goddard pg 171) This pistol was probably in the inventor's hand's, John M Browning in Ogden, Utah.
Truly a piece of history.
Serial number 479 with matching slide marked 479.
Sight safety altered as many 1900s were.
