Colt Model 1903 Hammerless Pocket Automatic pistol, cal. .32 ACP, SN: 561882, parkerized with blued small parts and magazine, bearing standard Colt factory markings on slide and frame to which “U.S. PROPERTY” was added to the right side of the frame. Checkered walnut grips with silvered Colt medallions. Blued Colt magazine with seven indicator holes and fixed floorplate marked "CAL. 32/COLT. Accompanied with an original instruction booklet and cleaning rod. Contained in a generic cardboard box with a handwritten serial number. Complete with Colt factory letter confirming shipment to the United States Government on November 21, 1944
Condition:
Crisp 99+% original parkerizing with just trace sharp edge wear, blued small parts in comparable or better condition. Verified Proof on left trigger guard and assembler number "35" on the right side both breaking through the parkerized finish, clearly original even though the factory letter cites "blue." Comparable condition oil soaked grips, minor blunting of the checkering. EXC original finish magazine with minor insertional wear. Instruction booklet creased and oil stained. Excellent original factory letter. A wonderful gun with factory letter citing Government sale in 1944!
