Description:

Colt Match Target Third Series pistol, circa 1968/69, cal. .22 LR, SN: 087146-S, with blued finish, 4½ inch barrel, and bottom magazine release. Fixed front sight with fully adjustable Elliason rear sight. Left side of barrel marked with the Colt address in Hartford, Connecticut, followed by the rampant Colt / “MATCH TARGET”. Left side of slide referencing the manufacturer and caliber. Full serial number on the right side of the frame. Checkered walnut target grips with thumb rest on left panel. Correct Third Series magazine, no notch for push button release, with detachable, Colt-marked floorplate.

Condition:

Near new with 99+% bright original salt blue with just the tiniest, barely discernible, handling marks. No suggestion of wear on either the front or the back strap. Each of the grip panels is as new. Magazine with light insertional wear. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics. A pistol that would be difficult to upgrade!
