Excellent, Pre-WW2 Colt Government Model National Match Rig
Description:
This is an excellent example of an early, pre-WW2 Colt Government Model National Match from 1936. This one is all correct, has a really nice high polish blued finish, and has a correct Colt 45 Auto Match barrel. It comes as a rig with one proper two-tone "Colt 45 Auto" magazine and a very nice 1918-dated Warren Leather Goods holster. The gun has retained about 96% of its original finish with very minor high edge / muzzle wear, a few marks on the front strap, and some light surface scratches here and there. The gun has been personalized with the name "Richard D. Holder" professionally engraved on the right side of the frame. We weren't able to find any information on him. Fitted with mint checkered wood grips. Minty bore.
