Description:
This is an unusual Schuetzen rifle as it is a .22 Rim Fire Caliber. It is most likely a WWII bring back as the original rear sight is missing and it has been replaced with a long range tang sight. Another unusual thing is that there are no proof marks or caliber designations, indicating that it must have been made about in the1890's or before. It is a rather planely made rifle with the minimin of decoration and engraving, The front sight is a very small ball on a very thin post protected by guards on both sides. It comes with a tampon that fits the muzzel of the back bored barrel, The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. The wood has the minimum of scratches and dings. An interesting gun that will draw attention at the local range.
