Bowen custom Ruger Vaquero .44 Paradox. Serial 56-69681 has a 7.5-inch barrel. Features include Paradox modifications to bore, small orange insert in front sight blade and a fitted Ruger Bisley cylinder. Based on the grain structure of the left grip panel as well as the Bisley etching on the cylinder, this revolver appears to be the one pictured on page 236 of Bowen's book. (The orange sight blade insert is not visible in the photo and possibly a later addition.) CONDITION: As modified, the bore is bright and shiny. Rifling (near the muzzle) is strong. Mechanics operate properly. Metal finish is at least 85 percent with some rubbing and light scratches. No box, papers or build sheet is present. The price is firm and layaway is available. $12,500 plus shipping.
