MIKE DUBBER ENGRAVED CUSTOM COLT MODEL 1911 MILITARY - .45 AUTO

Description:
Manufactured in 1912, subsequently extensively embellished by Master Engraver Michael W. Dubber.  Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights, the model designation gold inlaid on the right side of the slide, the serial number on the right side of the frame with gold-inlaid COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG.CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A with patent dates underneath on the left side, along gold-inlaid Rampant Colt behind, extensive floral pattern scroll engraving with 80% coverage across the frame, slide, slide catch, thumb safety, grip safety, and mainspring housing, separated with gold inlaid edge lines and borders. The top of the slide displays a gold inlaid full profile laying lion. "M Dubber' signed on unerside of frame by trigger guard. Fitted with a pair of smooth ivory grips with lions head portrait scrimshaw on the left panel and scrolls scrimshaw on the right panel.
