Description: 1954 Czech CZ vz. 52 (CZ-52) – All Matching – 7.62×25 Tokarev – Excellent Bore – Original Military Finish Up for sale is an original 1954 Czech CZ vz. 52 (CZ-52) semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.62×25 Tokarev.
This is a desirable matching-numbers example, with the frame, slide, and barrel all matching serial number FK12291. It retains its original military phosphate finish, original Czech bakelite grips, and Century Arms (CAI St. Albans, VT) import markings.
This pistol is in excellent mechanical condition. It has been function tested and all controls operate properly, including the safety/decocker, slide, magazine release, and trigger. It features a strong hammer spring, crisp single-action trigger, and a clean, bright bore with sharp rifling, making it an outstanding shooter as well as an excellent Cold War military collectible.
The original military finish rates approximately 88–90%, showing only light holster and handling wear consistent with honest military service. The original bakelite grips remain solid with no cracks, displaying only minor cosmetic wear. The lanyard loop is intact, and the pistol includes one original magazine. The CZ-52 is renowned for its unique roller-locked operating system, rugged military construction, and the flat-shooting, high-velocity 7.62×25 Tokarev cartridge. Matching examples in this condition are becoming increasingly difficult to find and remain highly sought after by military surplus and Cold War collectors.
