The 75B utilizes a single-/double-action, hammer-fired mechanism, with tilt barrel, short recoil operation. A manual thumb safety blocks the firing pin, allowing the pistol to be carried with the hammer cocked and the safety engaged. The single-action trigger pull allows precision shot placement. The slide of the 75B rides inside the rails of the frame rather than over the top, contributing to the low bore axis for reduced recoil and a tighter lockup for enhanced accuracy. 3-dot steel sights acquire quickly, and hard checkered composite grip panel provide a solid hold.
