These deringers were made by the National Arms Company of Brooklyn New York from 1865 to 1870 with a total production of approx, 12000. This gun has an engraved brass frame and is the variation that is not equiped with an ejector, The barrel and frame are silver plated and the grips are checkered walnut. It is chambered for the .41 rimfire cartridge.
Condition-- The barrel and frame retain much of the original silver plating with some bubbling on the barrel. The grips are good with much of their original varnished finish remaining. The action is strong. This deringer is in as found condition and has not been cleaned or polished so the silver plate is dark.
